Marie Fox of Windy Acres Farm in Culpeper, Va. uses a little more than five acres to grow fruits, vegetables and herbs. She also raises goats and chickens and has become an avid beekeeper—all in addition to having a full-time job. The following two videos originally appeared in an earlier visual presentation, Embracing Virginia’s agriculture, but have been re-posted individually below.
Videos were created as part of a converged media applications course at Virginia Commonwealth University under the direction of Dr. Timothy Bajkiewicz. Project updates can be followed on Facebook under the page “Naturally Grown Virginia” or on Twitter by following @NaturalGrownVa. (By Corey Byers, Copyright 2010)
