Marie Fox of Windy Acres Farm in Culpeper, Va. uses a little more than five acres to grow fruits, vegetables and herbs. She also raises goats and chickens and has become an avid beekeeper—all in addition to having a full-time job. The following two videos originally appeared in an earlier visual presentation, Embracing Virginia’s agriculture, but have been re-posted individually below.

Videos were created as part of a converged media applications course at Virginia Commonwealth University under the direction of Dr. Timothy Bajkiewicz. Farm in Charles City is a home for alpacas

Alpacas roam the fields of Clearview Farm in Charles City, Va. Farmers see the animals, which are native to South America, as a worthy and “huggable” investment.
